The Advisory Council, among its many duties, is responsible for coordinating the activities, maintenance and use of the church, and long-range planning. The Council also acts as the pastoral relations committee and conducts performance evaluation of the staff.

Frank (Buzzy) and Lois Clark have directed our music program since 1995.   Buzzy serves as our church organist/pianist.  He graduated from West Virginia University and Ohio University with degrees in Speech Pathology.  Lois, our choir director, graduated from West Virginia University with a degree in Music Education.  They have been married over 30 years, and have faithfully dedicated their marriage and lives to Christ.  Prior to serving at First Baptist, they directed the music program at Memorial Baptist Church in Hampton, Virginia.
